Greetings All!

I would like to thank all of you for your hard work to produce a 
memorable 4th of July concert. I have received numerous glowing 
comments from both friends and total strangers that were moved to 
come up after the concert. It is clear that this concert continues to 
be well received by the community!

 From my perspective, this year was a solid performance by all 
involved. The sound crew with the help of Eric Carlson did a great 
job balancing the band with the strings and chorus. Thanks to John 
Howell and Carter Edmondson for all of their hard work pulling the 
strings and chorus together! I believe that this was as good a chorus 
as we have had in recent years. As always, Dean Crane and 
Blacksburg's Department of Parks and Recreation had all of the 
logistics under control and plenty of pizza and drink to go around! 
And a special thanks to Seth Williamson for his voice and personality 
that adds a professional edge to the performance.

Thanks again for your willingness to share your talents with the 
community on this very special holiday. The time you take away from 
your families is much appreciated by all of those that come for the 
unique entertainment that we provide. I hope that you all are able to 
join us again next year, and don't hesitate to contact me if you have 
any questions or comments.
