 Hello I have a request if any of the band members would like to volunteer.
Mrs. Alicia king ad myself will be celebrating our 5th year feeding anyone
for our Christmas eve Lunch Sunday December 24th. From 12 pm to 3 pm at the
Christiansburg National Guard Armory we feed over 500 last Christmas Eve we
took over 65 meals to shut ins , The Christiansburg Police and Montgomery
County Sheriffs Department. all the Constitutional officers, Town Manager,
Town Mayor county supervisors and even Congressman Jim Shuler and
Congressman Deeds served meals the first hour .
Santa will be giving out unwrapped toys  carolers singing traditional songs
,
Face painting ,DJ music, and many other activities and of course Food, Food
, Food
this is a free day of enjoyment to all who attend
hope the band can even come and play a little music. anyone can contact me
by phone or email ....
Duties needed ...greeters , servers ,  delivery drivers and even to provide
pick up and drop off of the needy.
and anyone who has a special talent, let me know we have so many great
volunteers who just share a smile and enjoy the time.  we have developed
over the past two years we start at 7 am to 7 pm for a tree hour event that
we need a lot of help.
