rehearsal, but I wanted to let everyone know 
about a few upcoming events.

SUNDAY, 4/29, 3 p.m. Squires Recital Salon
the Early Music Ensemble, conducted by John Howell
"For Those We Love," with medieval, renaissance 
and baroque music, guest brass quintet
Free admission

FRIDAY, 5/4, 8 p.m., Squires Recital Salon
The Blacksburg Community Strings, conducted by Åke-Eric Renqvist
Spring Concert, featuring Mary Walters on flute, 
Ashley Keffer on violin and Matthew Utt on viola, 
playing Gluck and Mozart
Free admission

SATURDAY, 5/5, 7:30 p.m., Squires Haymarket Theater
The Brigham Young University Wind Symphony
"America's most widely-toured university concert band"
Probably sponsored by our local LDS church (Brother Holbrook, 382-7829)
$8 in advance, $10 day of show
