Great rehearsal tonight!

Thank you to everyone who came out.  This is shaping up to be a great
performance.

Here is the rundown for the 4th of July!!!:

IMPORTANT
I NEED A COUNT FOR THE PICNIC.  PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL MY SUNDAY
JULY 1 WITH THE COUNT OF HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ATTENDING THE PICNIC.


Parade

Meet at the Rec Center at 1:00pm to mount the float and be driven to
the parade ground OR meet the float at the parade ground (next to old
Blacksburg Middle School (Eheart Street)

Bring water, sunscreen, hat, instrument.  Music will be provided
(parade version of Stars and Stripes Forever.) Our dress is khaki
bottom white top but feel free to adorn yourself with patriotic trim
and accessories!

Picnic

We will have a band picnic in the Caboose Park starting at 4:00pm.
You and your family and friends are invited to join the band for this
social event.  Please bring a side dish to share.  the band will be
providing a big sub, beverages and paper/plastic products.

think about a lawn chair or blanket to kick back on.

Concert

We need to be in our seats ready to play at 5:30pm for a 6:00
downbeat.  Please be sure to bring your instrument, music and stand.

I HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE ON THE 4TH!!!
