forget!!

IDEAS FOR THE RECEPTION
I am always so surprised at the culinary treats that we get with each
concert and potluck so I know our reception will be exceptional. We are
looking to get a little more variety in the savory, salty and sour
categories and maybe slightly lighter in the sweet portion.

Some popular items in the past include:

Finger Sandwiches (egg salad, ham salad, tuna salad, chicken salad)
Ham Biscuits
Ham, Beef or Turkey Pinwheels
Sausage Balls
Mini Wienies in Barbecue or Honey Mustard Sauce
Mini Pigs in Blankets
Profiteroles (Cream puffs or cheese puffs stuffed with chicken salad)
Summer Sausage Platter (If you buy the summer sausage at Kroger I know they
will slice it for your for free)
Sausage and Cheese platter
Assorted cheese cubes
Vegetable Platters
Fruit Platter
Apple wedges and fruit dip
Stuffed Celery (peanut butter, cream cheese with green olives and pecans,
pimiento cheese)
Cheese Ball and Crackers
Mini Quiche
Spanikopita (mini spinach and feta triangles)
Asparagus wrapped in ham
Cocktail meatballs
Fruit kabobs
Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes
Deviled Eggs
Relish tray (Carrots, Celery, green and black olives, pepperoncini)
Olives
Dried fruit platter
Chips and Dips

Then of course there are the sweets:
Cookies
Fudge
Brownies
And a host of other things that are more easily thought of…

There will be sign uo sheets on Wednesday so we can checkout balance of
flavors!

Please remember to make enough for 10 - 12 people or more. Also, keep in
mind the possibility of setting aside a small amount for the back for your
organizers and helpers.
