Hello Band!
This is a littel long but there is updated concert info.

We the following rehearsals, all at 7:30pm, remaining this season:
Wednesday May 16 Blacksburg High School Band Room
Wednesday May 23 Blacksburg High School Band Room
Wednesday May 30 Blacksburg High School Band Room
Wednesday June 13 Squires Student Center room 243
Wednesday June 20 Squires Student Center location TBD
Wednesady June 27 Squires Student Center room 243

Rehearsals will begin again September 5, 2007 in the Blacksburg high
school band room

Here is information on our upcoming summer concerts including detailed
information on the first three dates with Music lists.

Dress for all summer concerts will be white top (preferrable band
shirt), khaki bottoms (pants, shorts, skirt, capris, etc.) Consider
bringing bottled water and bug repelent to outdoor venues.

SATURDAY MAY 19 - ARMED FORCES DAY CONCERT
Location: Claytor Lake
Time 2:00pm downbeat, be there ready to play at 1:30pm

Entrance to the Park is free for band Members. Let them know at the gate.

Please be sure to bring your instrument, music, music stand.  Consider
sunscreen, a hat and a bottle of water.

PICNIC - The band will provide beverages, paper goods, plasticware and
ice.  Please bring your favorite dish(s) to share.  If your item is
parishable we will have some cooler space to help keep things yummy!

Bring your instrument, your music, music stand. Although we will be
inside please note that it is usually VERY warm in the social hall.

Dinner is available if you would like to participate.  It is a catered
buffet that will most likely have: Fried chicken, ham, mashed
potaotes, green beans, corn pudding, broccoli salad, jello salad,
assorted beverages and desserts. Cost is ususally around $5.
