A reminder of one of our own performing soon:

Bruce McGarvey will have a recital Thursday June 7, 7:00, Blacksburg
Baptist Church

Accompanist: Kay Castagnoli
Assisted by Jude Raffeiner (tuba), Elizabeth Bowles (clarinet)

The pieces will include barn burners from the Victorian virtuoso era and by
Cavallini, a tuba/clarinet duet by Peter Schickele, a Sonata by Schubert, a
clarinet duet by Pleyel, unaccompanied works by Richmond and Blacksburg
composers (Allan Blank and Miriam Piilonen), and a sonata in the jazz idiom
by Joseph Horovitz.
