[BBCB-Mail] Farewell Dinner for Kellie Keeling (oboe and librarian)

Dear band,

Our oboe player and librarian, Kellie Keeling, will be moving to
Colorado this summer. Kellie has been a dedicated member of the
Blacksburg Community Band playing oboe for 8 years and has been
librarian for the better part of that time.  She also served several
terms as Secretary for the Board. Kellie has been instrumental in
keeping us in music and organizing our sorting parties.  Her hard work
and organizational skills has kept the music library in check. She
will be sorely missed in the bandroom and in the librabry.

Kellie's husband has also been our webmaster for several years.  He
has helped to keep us updated. He also makes some culinary wonders for
our various concerts, picnics and potlucks. No event will be the same
without his contributions and presence.

Please join us to say farewell and thank as we host a dinner for
Kellie & Kevin, and thier son, Irving, at Kabuki in Christiansburg on
June 1 at 6:00pm (I am not 100% sure on the time so it may change)

Donations for a gift (framed title page to 'Kellie's Song' by John
Howell) are being accepted now through June 1.  You can make a
contribution to Leslie during rehearsal or drop off donations to any
of the officers.

We hope to see you there to help us say farewell and thank you!
