Greetings!

As promised, here is the list of music for the October 11 concert
with Roanoke College. This is not the order that we will be
performing them.

- Slavic Farewell - Vasilij Agapkin
- First Suite in E-Flat, Opus 28, No. 1 - Gustav Holst
- Anzio - Steve Brown
- October - Eric Whitacre
- Variations on a Hymn Tune - John Howell
- The Poet and the Peasant Overture - Franz Von Suppe
- The Kiron Processional - Joe Blaha
- Stars & Stripes Forever - John Philip Sousa

Also, we will be playing the Pumpkin Festival on October 14. Here is
a tentative list of tunes that we will be performing for that event.
Depending upon the instrumentation that we will have, I am thinking
that it would be fun to play The Poet and the Peasant Overture, but
we will see. . .

- Liberty Bell March, The - John Philip Sousa
- American Folk Rhapsody #3 - arr. Grundman
- Anzio - Steve Brown
- Slavic Farewell - Vasilij Agapkin
- Radetzky March, Op. 282 - Johann Strauss, arr. Alfred Reed
- Sinatra In Concert - arr. Jerry Nowak
- Punch And Judy - Henry Mancini
- Funiculi Funicula - Luigi Denza
- Stars & Stripes Forever - John Philip Sousa

Thanks, and practice!

- Ed -

P.S. I did forget to mention the Band-A-Rama event featuring the Tech
University Jazz Ensemble, University Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and The
Marching Virginians. This will be tomorrow, Friday, September 21 in
Burruss Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. There is a charge that will go toward
the Scholarship Fund. This should be a diverse and exciting program.
