Greetings All!
I would like to thank those of you who came out for the Armed Forces
Day Concert. We had great weather and a very appreciative audience. I
do appreciate all of you who made a special effort to attend!
We will run through the music on Wednesday for the XYZ concert on
Thursday. Below is the list of music that I intend to program for the
concert. Remember, we will be inside and setting up during their
program, so we need to set up quietly. If you plan to eat, be there
at 6:00 pm (I think that it is $7 these days). Everyone else, be
there at 6:30 pm. Don't forget your music, stands, and instruments.
Dress is khaki and white.
Also, don't forget that a week from Monday is Memorial Day. We will
be performing at the Warm Hearth Gazebo at 10:45 am. I repeat, the
downbeat is 10:45 am, so please be there by 10:15 am. We play for 15
minutes prior to the ceremony and then at times throughout the
ceremony. We should be done by noon. Below is the set list for
Memorial Day.
I really hope that you all can make this short ceremony. It is an
important concert for the community and there will be veterans from
WWII, Korean War, Vietnam, Gulf War, our current conflicts, as well
as town dignitaries in attendance.
Thanks!
- Ed -
